Day 1: Leave St Johns by earlier afternoon. Drive to Deer Lake for an over night in a hotel. Or if you leave YYT by noon you probably can get to Rocky Harbour in time for a nice fine dining supper at either of the following restaurants in Rocky Harbour/Norris Point area ( Black Spruce, Sugar Hill Inn or Java Jacks). Stay at Java Jacks B&B or Meeting Hill Cottages.

Day 2: Eat breakfast in Rocky Harbour. Pick up a picnic for the drive at Java Jacks or #myfoodhike restaurants in Gros Morne.

Day 3: Drive up the peninsula stop at Arches, sand dunes at western brook river, salmon pool in Torrent River, Port aux Choix maritime archaic Indian site, seal skin museum and shop and/or the Trombolites.  Maybe pick a few of these attractions and do the others on the drive down. Check into Valhalla or Annie's in late afternoon. Get ready to go for an evening meal at The Norseman, visit the adjacent Gaia art gallery and after supper get some sunset photos with Leif Ericsson statue on the water front or go for a walk towards Norstead and get some evening photos near the sod buildings  .

Day 4: After breakfast go to L'Anse aux Meadows UNESCO Viking site and Norstead. Pick up a picnic lunch at the Norseman and go for a hike Norstead sea cave or drive to Dark Tickle's Cafe Nymph for lunch. Visit Dark Tickle shop & museum while you are there. After lunch, go for a small hike up Aunt Bridies trail (600 meters each way) across the road from Valhalla or walk down to Annie's retreat ; beachcomb or watch for whales and icebergs. If you have a kayak you can launch it there. If you want an action filled day you can take the 1:30pm boat tour or plan for the next day to take the Dark Tickle Expedition Boat Tour. Go back to your accommodations for a rest to plan for evening dining at the Norseman. 

Day 5: After breakfast visit Grenfell museum and Grenfell house in St Anthony. Dine at the Lighthouse cafe on fishing point or one of the other local restaurants. Hike around Fishing point after lunch. Visit the 476 step climb to top of the hill and then go visit Ragna Rock Brewery. Drive back to Griquet to take an afternoon boat tour with Dark Tickle Expeditions . Drive back to the Gunner's Cove. Relax before dinner and then come and dine at the Norseman again or try one of the other local restaurant like Cafe Nymph at Dark Tickle.

Day 6: After breakfast head back south visiting sites along way. Stay in Rocky Harbour, Woody Point or Deer Lake.

Day 7: Make a direct drive back to St Johns.
